This Solihull Approach Foundation Train the Trainer (Foundation) training agreement relates to all Solihull Approach Train the Trainer (Foundation) trainings.
Solihull Approach Train the Trainer (Foundation) trainings enable trainers to deliver the range of Solihull Approach Foundation trainings to attendees in compliance with the Solihull Approach Code of Practice. https://solihullapproach.heiapply.com/application/Code_of_Practice
The Solihull Approach cascade model of training enables trainers to deliver any of the Solihull Approach Foundation trainings in their local area as part of their normal role within the cascade training model. This Agreement is part of the Solihull Approach quality assurance and governance strategy to maintain the integrity and fidelity of groups and training.
By attending any of the Solihull Foundation Train the Trainer (Foundation) trainings you agree to adhere to the following.
You will:
have completed one of the range of Solihull Approach 2-day Foundation trainings and integrated the Solihull Approach model of working into your practice
complete the Solihull Approach ‘Train the Trainer’ (Foundation) training prior to delivering any Solihull Approach 2-day Foundation training
have individual access to your own relevant Solihull Approach Trainers’ Manual for preparation and training delivery
have easy access to the relevant Solihull Approach Resource book or supporting information leaflet
seek relevant mentoring and support within your local organisation
adhere to the Solihull Approach Code of Practice https://solihullapproach.heiapply.com/application/Code_of_Practice
When delivering any of Solihull Approach 2 Day Foundation trainings you will:
ensure that you facilitate any Solihull Approach 2 Day Foundation training with a co trainer who has completed the required level of training.
provide the Solihull Approach office by email to solihull.approach@uhb.nhs.uk with details of each training you deliver, including attendee’s names, emails and dates they complete their 2 day Foundation training
send evaluation forms for each training you deliver by either email to solihull.approach@uhb.nhs.uk or post to Solihull Approach, Bishop Wilson Clinic, Craig Croft, Chelmsley Wood, Birmingham. B37 7TR
deliver any Solihull Approach 2 Day Foundation training as detailed in the relevant Solihull Approach Trainer’s Manual
ensure that every participant has access to the relevant Solihull Approach resource book and/or supporting information booklet where relevant, during the training
ensure that participants have easy access to the relevant Solihull Approach resource book and/or supporting information leaflet after the training, to move theory into practice
liaise with the Solihull Approach Manager regarding any queries, training issues or concerns
encourage participants to set up relevant mentoring and support after training e.g. work discussion groups.
The Solihull Approach understands and encourages creativity within the development of Solihull Approach resources and groups. If you would like to suggest changes to activities within the training, please contact the Solihull Approach Manager to discuss your ideas before making any adjustments.

We may change this Agreement from time to time. We will communicate the updated Agreement on the website, and it will take effect immediately or on a date that is nominated in the posting or a in a notice we send to you. Your ongoing use of the Solihull Approach intellectual property after the changes take effect signifies your agreement to the updated Agreement. You are responsible for regularly reviewing this Agreement and any other terms posted on the Website. If you disagree with the changes that are made to this Agreement, you may simply terminate use of the Solihull Approach intellectual property as provided above.

seek relevant mentoring and support within your local organisation

When delivering any of Solihull Approach Group Facilitator trainings you will:
ensure that you facilitate any Solihull Approach Group Facilitators training with a co trainer who has completed the required level of training
ensure that each attendee booked onto Solihull Approach Group Facilitator trainings you deliver has completed the required pre-requisite Solihull Approach training
provide the Solihull Approach office by email solihull.approach@uhb.nhs.uk with details of attendee and their required pre-requisite training dates prior to training to enable relevant Facilitator manuals to be acquired
ensure that attendees you train sign the Agreement form for Facilitators of Groups prior to training

have individual access to your own Solihull Approach Group Facilitators Trainers’ Manual for preparation and group delivery

When delivering any of Solihull Approach Parenting Group Facilitator trainings you will:
ensure that any Solihull Approach parenting groups are delivered with a co facilitator who has completed the required training and has their own relevant facilitators’ manual when preparation and group delivery
deliver any Solihull Approach parenting groups as detailed in the relevant Solihull Approach Group Facilitators’ manual
not reduce the number of group sessions by omitting sessions or combining sessions into one session or change the content of the sessions as detailed in any Solihull Approach Group Facilitators manuals
send completed Solihull Approach parent evaluation forms for facilitated groups by email to solihull.approach@uhb.nhs.uk or post to Solihull Approach, Bishop Wilson Clinic, Craig Croft, Chelmsley Wood, Birmingham, B37 7TR
liaise with the Solihull Approach Manager regarding any relevant issues or concerns
arrange support for yourself to set up, run and debrief after delivering a group
The Solihull Approach understands and encourages creativity within the development of Solihull Approach resources and groups. If you would like to suggest changes to activities within the groups, please contact the Solihull Approach Manager to discuss your ideas before making any adjustments.
