A PDC file is a protected PDF file created by Locklizard. It contains encrypted content that can only be opened with Locklizard Safeguard PDF Viewer, ensuring that only authorised users can access and view the document.

There could be several reasons, including license issues, software installation problems, or document permissions. Ensure you have the correct license and that the software is properly installed.

You should receive your license via email. To register it, click on the ‘Your Name License’ link and select ‘Open with Safeguard Viewer’. A message dialog will confirm successful registration.

This error may occur if the license is incorrect or expired. If problems persist, contact us for a new license.

Try restarting your computer, updating the software to the latest version, and ensuring your operating system is up to date. If the issue persists, reinstall the software.
